Sign up for the Brooklyn Center Driver's Education Program
Classroom driver's training is offered at BCHS during the summer. This course is the first necessary step before students can take their written permit test and behind-the-wheel training. Any person between the ages of 16 and 18 who wishes to obtain a Minnesota Driver's license must successfully complete both the classroom and behind-the-wheel portions of Driver's Education.
Any student who is 15 or nearing their 15th birthday can take the course. Behind-the-wheel lessons are arranged on an individual basis with the instructor once the student receives his/her permit.
Driver's Education develops the skills of handling a car safely, courteously and economically. In addition, students who satisfactorily complete the course are often eligible for discounted car insurance rates.
You can also stop by the BCHS main office at the high school to pick one up. For more information, contact Jody Jetland at 763-561-2120, ext. 2101 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
