International Baccalaureate® is an academically challenging and rigorous program of international education. IB programs encourage both personal and academic achievement, challenging students to excel in their
studies and in their personal development. The programs focus on developing internationally-minded learners
who are inquirers, knowledgeable, thinkers, communicators, principles, open-minded, caring, risk-takers,
balanced and reflective, and strive to create a better and more peaceful world. We offer a continuum of IB programming, from PreKindergarten through Grade 12.
Primary Years Programme (PYP):
The elementary program at Earle Brown prepares students to become active, caring, lifelong learners
who demonstrate respect for themselves and others and have the capacity to participate in the world around
them. It focuses on development of the whole child.
Middle Years Programme (MYP):
The middle school program at Brooklyn Center Secondary provides a challenging framework that
encourages students to make practical connections between their studies and the real world.
Diploma Programme (DP):
The high school program at Brooklyn Center Secondary aims to develop students who have excellent breadth
and depth of knowledge – students who flourish physically, intellectually, emotionally and ethically.
