The Brooklyn Center School District has been awarded the 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant. This is a Federally funded grant that is administered through the Minnesota Department of Education and the No Child Left Behind Act. This grant allows Brooklyn Center to provide a variety of wonderful and exciting before, after-school and summer programs.

The BCS UNITED BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS are in place to provide Brooklyn Center Community School students with the opportunity to enhance their 21st Century skills.  Academics, Technology, Enrichment, and Health & Wellness are key areas of focus during out of school time.
