Wellness General Information

Brooklyn Center Community Schools is committed to equip all staff, students and community members with the knowledge to contribute to their life-long personal wellness, through the promoting of nutritional habits, physical activity, and social-emotional development. We offer a variety of opportunities and support services including free medical, dental, mental health, and vision resources for youth. We also provide staff and community members’ opportunities supported by our wellness committee and partnerships. Brooklyn Center Community Schools District 286 Wellness Policy #533, along with the school site-specific wellness policy goals for Brooklyn Center Middle and High Schools STEAM, Earle Brown Elementary STEAM, and Early College Brooklyn Center Academy are available below: 
Fuel Up to Play 60 and Action for Healthy Kids awarded funding to Brooklyn Center Middle and High School STEAM and Earle Brown Elementary STEAM for the 2017-18 school year to support health and wellness initiatives. Check out the press releases below for more information.
